Education for Tomorrow SK-AT


EU-Projekt im Rahmen des Kooperationsprogramms INTERREG VI-A Slowakei-Österreich, das durch den Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung gefördert wird                                                                                             

Das Projekt "Education for Tomorrow" (eTOM SK-AT) zielt auf grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit im Bildungsfeld ab und entwickelt ein einzigartiges eTOM-Bildungsprogramm für pädagogische Fachkräfte in der Grenzregion. Das Programm konzentriert sich auf die Förderung von Zukunftskompetenzen in den Bereichen Umwelt/Klimawandel und Kommunikation für Elementar-, Primar- und Sekundarbereich 1. Ziel ist es, die Bildungssysteme auf beiden Seiten der Grenze zu transformieren und zu fördern, um eine gerechtere und nachhaltigere Welt zu gestalten.

Das Projekt unterstützt dieses Ziel durch Umwelt- und Klimabildung, die Wertschätzung kultureller Vielfalt und die Förderung der Nachbarsprache (Deutsch und Slowakisch) sowie Mehrsprachigkeit. Dazu werden zweisprachig geführte Bildungseinrichtungen (bilinguale SK-AT Pilotkindergärten) im Grenzgebiet etabliert sowie Kindergärten und Schulen mit Fokus auf Sprach(en)förderung in städtischen Ballungsräumen gefördert. Unterstützt und begleitet werden diese durch regionale Kompetenz- und Transferstellen der Projektpartner, die sich untereinander austauschen und ein grenzüberschreitendes Netzwerk sowie ein grenzüberschreitendes digitales Kompetenzzentrum für Sprachen aufbauen.

Pädagogische Fachkräfte spielen eine zentrale Rolle bei der Vermittlung der Inhalte. Fortbildungsangebote und partizipative Workshops werden angeboten, um flexible und anwendbare Konzepte zu entwickeln, die den Bedürfnissen der Zielgruppen gerecht werden.


Das Projekt entwickelt auch eine digitale eTOM-Plattform, die das erlangte Wissen aus dem Projekt sowie aus den Synergieprojekten (eTOM AT-CZ und eTOM AT-HU) bündelt. Die Plattform unterstützt den Austausch und die Verbreitung von Fachkenntnissen. Sie dient nicht nur als digitale Datenbank für Handlungsempfehlungen, sondern stellt auch den gesamten Projektprozess lebendig dar.

Education for Tomorrow SK-AT (eTOM SK-AT) - English version

 

EU project under the INTERREG VI-A Slovakia-Austria cooperation programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund 

The ‘Education for Tomorrow’ (eTOM SK-AT) project aims to foster cross-border cooperation in the field of education and is developing a unique eTOM training programme for teaching staff in the border region. The programme focuses on promoting future-oriented skills in the areas of the environment/climate change and communication for pre-school, primary and lower secondary education. The aim is to transform and support the education systems on both sides of the border in order to shape a fairer and more sustainable world.

The project supports this objective through environmental and climate education, the promotion of cultural diversity, and the encouragement of neighbouring languages (German and Slovak) as well as multilingualism. To this end, bilingual educational institutions (bilingual SK-AT pilot kindergartens) are being established in the border region, and kindergartens and schools focusing on language support are being supported in urban areas. These are supported and guided by regional competence and transfer centres run by the project partners, who exchange information and are building a cross-border network as well as a cross-border digital competence centre for languages.

Educational professionals play a key role in delivering the content. Training courses and participatory workshops are offered to develop flexible and practical approaches that meet the needs of the target groups.

The project is also developing a digital eTOM platform that brings together the knowledge gained from the project and from the synergy projects (eTOM AT-CZ and eTOM AT-HU). The platform supports the exchange and dissemination of expertise. It serves not only as a digital database for recommendations for action, but also brings the entire project process to life.

In addition, the ‘Project Catalogue’ at https://projects.sk-at.eu/ provides a detailed overview of the project and the activities of all project partners within the framework of eTOM SK-AT.
